What is the TSB Experience?
It’s knowing that you’re attending a school that has graduated generations of beauty professionals. Since 1930, TSB has been the premier choice for an education in the beauty industry.
It’s knowing that five generations of the Brown family have run the school since 1930. Beauty is in our DNA.
It’s knowing that more than 1,000 TSB grads have gone on to open their own salons thanks to their TSB experience. It’s our grads coming back to give demonstrations for our students on the latest techniques and tips.
It’s knowing that TSB works hard to stay at the forefront of our industry. We were the first beauty school in the nation to offer
online testing. We’re a Redken Premier School which offers exclusive benefits for our students. We were the first stand-alone satellite school for MUD (Make-up Designory), where the classes that you take with us can transfer to MUD’s NYC and LA campuses. We are among the first beauty schools in the nation to have an app. We’re the only school in Tennessee to offer a laser and paramedical esthetics program. And one of a handful of schools to offer lash certification.
It’s knowing that our instructors will provide you with a first-class educational experience from day one. From theory to hands-on
experiences, you’ll learn more than just the basics.
It’s knowing that school isn’t all work and no play. From our famous Halloween contest to photo shoots to monthly theme days, we make learning fun.
It’s knowing that giving back is important. We love our community and enjoy being able to support some pretty amazing causes like the Suicide Prevention Network, American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Clubs, and John Tartleton Home.
It’s our experience that we’ve gained from training more than 20,000 graduates that we can pass along to you. We’ve worked hard to find the best and most effective ways to prepare our students for long-term success in the beauty industry.
It’s knowing that not only have many of our graduates gone on to open their own salons and spas, but that all of the area schools have at least one TSB grad as an instructor.
It’s knowing that all of our students aren’t the same and finding ways to inspire and teach each of you to do your best.
It’s knowing that you’ll have time on the floor of our student salon, where you’ll hone your cut and color skills under the supervision of our instructors. Practice makes perfect.
