October 7, 2014TSB goes pink in support of the American Cancer Society
Tennessee School of Beauty (TSB) wants everyone to go pink to support the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.
Pink services – hair, nails and makeup – will be offered from Tuesday, September 30, through Saturday, October 4. Services are free, but donations to the American Cancer Society are encouraged. To take advantage of pink services, make appointment by calling 588-7878, or stop in at the school.
TSB will also provide a touch of pink for participants of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) walk, set for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, at World’s Fair Park. Participants will be invited to take advantage of temporary hair color, single color pink nail polish and TSB temporary tattoos.
“We hope a lot of people – women and men – will take advantage of our pink services and support the American Cancer Society,” said Adam Brown, owner of Tennessee School of Beauty. “People who come during the days before the walk can have their picture added to our Wall of Pink and join the TSB/ACS Army. We are excited to be able to support the fight against breast cancer in a unique way.”
MSABC is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services, and access to mammograms for women who need them. Sign up today and let’s finish the fight against breast cancer. For more information, visit www.makingstrideswalk.org.
