About Dr. Sawyer.
Dr. Chris Sawyer has practiced medicine for 38 years. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1977 and began working in family medicine. He is the Medical Director for Family Care Laser Spa, Ideal Image Laser Spa and Remote Area Medical Rescue. He teaches at the University of TN College of Medicine and The Skin Care Centre at Tennessee School of Beauty. Because of his passion for skin care he opened Family Care Laser Spa in 2005 and began practicing medical esthetics along with his private family practice. His other passion, Remote Area Medical Rescue, where he is on call for disasters anywhere in the world, has taken him on 15 international mission trips. He and his team were present for both Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti earthquake. He has certifications with the American Academy of Family Practice, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Wilderness Medicine Society and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. Dr. Chris Sawyer is highly respected for his “painless touch” when injecting Botox and his extensive knowledge in the successful treatment of acne. He has been apart of The Skin Care Centre’s paramedical program for the past 3 years.
