Cancellation & Refund Policy
Tennessee School of Beauty (TSB) strives to provide high-quality education and training for beauty professionals. This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all Continuing Education classes, workshops, seminars, and Advanced Certification programs.
1. Right to Cancel & Initial Refund Window
- Applicants who are not accepted into a class or certification program will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
- Accepted students may cancel within seven (7) business days of signing their enrollment agreement and before the first day of class for a full refund, minus any non-refundable registration fee.
- Cancellation must be submitted in writing via email or physical mail. The date on the written notice (postmark or email timestamp) will determine the official cancellation date.
- Refunds will be issued within 15 days of the school receiving written notice of cancellation, or within 15 days of determining the student’s withdrawal.
2. School-Initiated Cancellations
If TSB cancels or postpones a class before instruction begins, students will receive a full refund, including registration fees or will extend a credit of the full amount towards a future class.
3. No-Show Policy
Students who fail to attend and do not submit written cancellation prior to the start of class will forfeit all monies paid. No-show registrations are non-refundable.
4. Kits, Materials & Supplies
The cost of kits, tools, books, or consumable supplies is non-refundable once the class begins or once materials have been opened, used, or distributed.
5. How to Submit a Cancellation:
By email ([email protected]), you must receive a confirmation email from TSB acknowledging the cancellation request.
Verbal cancellations (in person or by phone) are not accepted.
6. Refund Processing
Eligible refunds will be issued within 15 days of:
- The school receiving written cancellation,
- The date TSB determines a student has withdrawn, or
- The date TSB cancels a course.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.
7. Non-Refundable Fees
Unless the school cancels the course, the following are non-refundable:
- Registration or enrollment fees
- Administrative fees
- Third-party processing fees (where applicable)
8. Transfers & Substitutions
Students may request transfer into another upcoming class (if space is available). Transfer requests must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the original class date.
Student substitutions may be permitted at the school’s discretion.
