Open House Week – July 21 – 24
May 1, 2020TSB is a BARBICIDE® Certified Safe Service Establishment
May 12, 2020COVID-19 Guidelines
Thank you for your support and patience during this time. We will be instituting the following policies and procedures (these are subject to change as the guidelines may be updated). For full details on the guidelines from Knoxville/Knox County, visit https://covid.knoxcountytn.gov/reopening.html
For our guests:
- Guests must all wear a face covering. We suggest coverings that loop around your ears rather than those that wrap around your head so the covering does not interfere with cutting or coloring your hair.
- We’re open by appointment ONLY. No walk-ins are allowed.
- Guests will be screened for exposure and illness prior to services.
- Our waiting area is temporarily closed, please call us when you arrive at (865) 588-7878. We will direct you from there.
- Services that require the removal of face coverings are limited to decrease exposure. These include, but are not limited to:
- facials
- peels
- certain waxing services
- makeup application
- mani/pedis
- We will be operating at reduced capacity to allow for proper social distancing. Please be patient with us as we will not be able to serve as many guests as we usually can.
- Please limit what you bring in with you to prevent possible spread of germs. For instance, rather than bringing in your purse, bring in just your ID, form of payment, and phone.
- Only the person receiving the service is allowed in the building. Minors with appointments and those needing special assistance are the only exceptions.
- If you are sick or have been around someone who is, please reschedule your appointment for at least 2 weeks later. Thank you.
Higher Risk Individuals:
Individuals must consider their personal risk and determine whether to increase their interactions in the community as phases progress. Throughout all phases, higher-risk individuals are strongly encouraged to follow the guidance specifically for them. In Phase One and Phase Two, this means to stay at home as much as possible. In Phase Three, this means resuming public interactions with physical distancing.
Higher-risk individuals include those over the age of 65, and those with serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune system is compromised.
• We will be marking the floor for our front desk area with 6 foot distances so our guests can keep a safe distance when checking out.
• We will have hand sanitizer at the front desk area.
• We have stepped up our sanitation policies. All of our staff has received Barbicide® Certification, which is the gold standard for sanitation and infection control in salons and spas.
