About Katie:
I began my training at TN School of Beauty on my 18th birthday and worked part time at Sephora. Upon graduation I went to work full time for Sephora where I became a CMA certified makeup artist, I then worked in the salon doing both hair and makeup in both Johnson City and Knoxville seeking out any advanced education opportunities. I came back to TSB to attain my instructors license and finished my training for both Tennessee School of Beauty and the Makeup Designory Academy. I then went to New York City where I got my MUD teaching certification and have served as educator at MUD’s satellite location in Knoxville (next door to TSB) while continuing my advancement in my freelance bridal business. I have been on the ballot for Cityview’s Best of the Best for the past 4 years for makeup and am excited for any opportunity to pour my passion for the beauty industry into anyone eager to learn. I’m 23 and happy to say that this ain’t just a hobby but a passion and career! I would love to share my passion with you and teach you some of the things I have learned as a Makeup artist and educator.
