November 11, 2017Movember Special at TSB
Any East Tennessee man who grows chevron, Dali, fu manchu, handlebar, horseshoe, imperial, or lampshade in support of men’s health for Movember can get a free mustache and beard trim in November and December, courtesy of Tennessee School of Beauty.
“Men who grow facial hair for Movember may want to keep things neat and tidy while supporting an important cause, that’s where we come in,” says Adam Brown, owner of Tennessee School of Beauty. “We are part of the Movember movement because mental health and suicide prevention awareness for men is personally important to me.”
In addition to mental health and suicide prevention, Movember also raises awareness for prostate cancer and testicular cancer prevention. The movement started in 2003 when 30 men in Australia grew mustaches for men’s health awareness. Since then, more than 5 million men and women have participated in the annual campaign, which has raised millions of dollars for men’s health projects.
