Zackary Sampsel grew up around shears, razor blades, irons and chemicals permeating the room. He was visiting his father, George Sampsel, at work, and yes, he was safe the entire time. George, 45, has been in the hair industry in one form or another since beginning Tennessee School of Beauty in 1992. But he wasn’t the first cosmetologist in the family.
